What to Expect?
Kalnciema Quarter – Kipsala – Victory Park
You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning, and we will start our Riga sightseeing tour by car, moving onward to the “Kalnciema quarter”. The Quarter’s fame comes from the wooden buildings, farmer markets, and cultural events that happen all year long.
We’ll continue our Riga tour to “Victory Park”. Despite the fact that the park has been given a political-ideological role due to certain dates from the Soviet Union times, nowadays the usage of the park is to promote urban activities and a healthy lifestyle.
Art Nouveau – Tallinas Street Quater
We will continue to Art Nouveau district where you will be amazed by the most outstanding architecture from late 19th and early 20th-century which has been included in the UNESCO heritage list since 1997.
Then you will be taken to “Tallina’s street quarter”, which is as close as you can get to the atmosphere of Amsterdam city. We will be passing colorful walls full of graffiti and see Riga in a bit more radiant tones and colors compared to what could be expected from a Northern European country.
Kengarags and Soviet Style Theme
Be ready to be taken to a more post-war and Soviet-style themed side of the city. We will continue our Riga tour along the cobbled streets of “Kengarags” from “Krasotaja street” to “Kengaraga promenade”.

Latvian Academy of Sciences – Central Market
After the “Latvian Academy of Sciences”, we’ll walk to the final point of our Riga tour – “The Central market”, which is known as one of the biggest open markets in Europe. You will be taken to the famous 5 pavilions each of them characterized by a specific product group – vegetables, dairy, meat, fish and gastronomy products.
